Joshua Gablin is a passionate intellectual property and entertainment lawyer with a career spanning decades in the industry. Josh’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to found his own record label and publishing company, where he played a pivotal role in developing and nurturing the careers of dozens of independent artists. 

Josh’s journey into law was driven by a profound desire to protect the rights of creatives. After studying music business at Elmhurst College (now Elmhurst University), he realized his true calling lay in helping creators safeguard their intellectual property and navigate the complex legal landscape of the entertainment world. This journey took him to Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he earned his law degree while honing his focus on intellectual property law.

At Chicago-Kent College of Law, Josh served as President of the school's Art & Cultural Property Society, where he gained invaluable insight into the intersection of law, art, and culture. His passion for intellectual property law grew further as the Executive Article Editor of the Chicago-Kent College of Law Intellectual Property Journal, where he helped review cutting-edge research and thought leadership in the field. 

Today, Josh is known for his expertise in entertainment law, with a particular focus on intellectual property, licensing, and contract negotiation. His experience working as both a musician and a legal advocate for artists gives him a unique perspective that allows him to serve as a trusted advisor to both up-and-coming and established creators and business owners.

Jessica Weiss has built a successful and diverse career spanning over 20 years in the fields of entertainment and business.
